On 27th July,2023,the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone organized its third session of Face to Face with China Event in Freetown, inviting Moses Kamara, from the Ministry of Fishery and Marine Resources, Alhaji Mohamed Jaward from the Ministry of Information and Civil Education, Alpha Mohamed Jalloh, director of the Institute of Sino-African Relationsof University of Makeni and George Elliot Sam form Star TV who have recent visited China. Representatives of major media groups and friendship Organizations participated in the event.

    In his opening statement, Ambassador Wang expressed his gratitude to all for telling the real story of China through what they have seen and heard with their own eyes and ears, and truly realizing "China Face to Face". He also encouraged people from all walks of life to strengthen exchanges and mutual understanding in different ways, and to actively participate in strengthening China-Sierra Leone friendship. Ambassador Wang also introduced China's recent development situation and the latest situation of China-Sierra Leone cooperation from four aspects: China's economy, China-Africa cooperation, China-US relations and China-Sierra Leone relations.

    The participants fondly recalled their experiences of visiting and studying in China, talked about their feelings about the development of contemporary China, and expressed their willingness to contribute toenhancing mutual understanding, cultivating friendship and promoting the sustainable development of China-Sierra Leone relations.
