On August 1 2023, Ambassador Wang Qing went to the 34th Military Hospital of Sierra Leone to extend greetings to the 7th Chinese Military Medical Experts Group, together with Major General Christian Fahim Marah, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defence and Colonel Dr. Stephen Sevalie, Head of the 34th Military Hospital of Sierra Leone, on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).

In his speech, Ambassador Wang warmly congratulated the 96th anniversary of the founding of PLA and wished the military medical experts group a happy holiday. Ambassador Wang commented that the military medical experts group has overcome many difficulties and assisted Sierra Leone in epidemic prevention and control, technical training, etc., which is fully demonstrated the good characteristics of PLA and effectively promoted China-Sierra Leone relations and cooperation between the two militaries.

Maj. Gen. Marah and other gusestsextended their best wishes on the 96th anniversary of the founding of the PLA, expressing their willingness to work with China to continuously strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the military field between the two countries, so as to promote the relationship between the two nations and the two militaries to a new level.

On the same day, the 7th military medical expert group also donated a batch of medical supplies to the 34th Military Hospital.
