In his opening statement, Ambassador Wang Qing shared with the audience some of the major events in China and new development of China-Seirra Leone relations. Ambassador Wang said China and Sierra Leone are good friends, good brothers and good partners. Ambassador Wang also extended his appreciation to friendship organizations for their long-term commitment to China-Sierra Leone friendship. He therefore also, mentioned that the friendship organizations will continue to use their own advantages to tell the story of China-Sierra Leone cooperation, enhance the people-to-people bond between the two countries, and write a new chapter of China-Sierra Leone friendship.

Minister Sandy shared his precious experiences about China and China-Sierra Leone relationship. Minister Sandy further explained that, China is one of Sierra Leone biggest partners in trade, and China has greatly influenced every aspect of national development. He is willing to promote the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
