According to the announcement of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China ( No.68 of 2026 ), since 20th July, 2026, China will accept coffee beans from African countries having diplomatic relations with China, which will benefit from China’s zero-tariff policy for Africa.
Trade enterprises are suggested to contact their national trade department and submit application through the department. Upon approval by the Chinese side, those enterprises could participate in above mentioned business. We welcome Sierra Leonean enterprises to pay attention to and apply for this opportunity. For application, please consult competent trade department of Sierra Leone. During the export process, enterprises should pay attention to relevant requirements and standards, especially for production, inspection and quarantine, and pre-export management.
