Ambassador Wang Qing and H.E. Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh Jointly Attend the Inaugural Ceremony of the 5th Chinese Chamber of Commerce

On October 23, the inaugural ceremony of the 5th  Chinese Chamber of Commerce was grandly held in Freetown. Ambassador Wang Qing, H.E. Vice President of Sierra Leone Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, and Minister of Trade and Industry Mr. Ibrahim Sesay attended and delivered speeches. Counsellor Mr. Wang Peng, all members of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, as well as several members of Parliament, Ministers, and representatives from business sectors and friendly chambers of commerce in Sierra Leone participated in the event.



Ambassador Wang Qing congratulated the establishment of the new chamber of commerce, reviewed the positive achievements in China-Sierra Leone economic and trade cooperation, and expressed expectations for the new Chamber regarding compliance management, exchanges and cooperation, and social responsibility.

H.E. Vice President Jalloh commended the contributions made by Chinese enterprises to Sierra Leone’s economy and society, encouraged the Chamber to attract more Chinese companies to invest and do business in Sierra Leone, and reaffirmed the Sierra Leonean government’s firm determination to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with China.

Ambassador Wang Qing, H.E. Vice President Jalloh, and other distinguished guests also jointly unveiled the plaque for the Chamber.
