Mr. Zhang Dianbin, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone Attends Ceremony for Donating Food Packages to Vulnerable Populations in Sierra Leone

On December 18 and 19, ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays, the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone donated food packages to vulnerable Sierra Leoneans and the Sierra Leone Police. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Mr. Zhang Dianbin, Sierra Leonean Minister of Social Welfare Hon. Melrose Karminty, leaders of major religious organizations, and Assistant Inpect General of Sierra Leone Police Mr. John Martin Senesi attended the ceremony.

Mr. Zhang Dianbin extended warm holiday greetings, noting the enduring friendship between China and Sierra Leone. He stated that the Embassy has organized food package donation activities for consecutive years, aiming to assist needy individuals in celebrating the holidays. He also expressed hope that Sierra Leonean individuals and organizations would continue to actively contribute to the cause of China-Sierra Leone friendship.

Minister Karminty and other representatives of the recipient community expressed gratitude for the Embassy's renewed food package initiative. They pledged to further play an active role in fostering people-to-people bonds between China and Sierra Leone, safeguarding the interests of Chinese institutions and citizens in Sierra Leone, and advancing bilateral friendly cooperation to new heights.
