Notice on Applying Biometric Visa as of Dec. 1st, 2019

Pursuant to the Chinese laws and regulations, the Chinese embassy in Sierra Leone will collect 10 fingerprints of all visa applicants with effect from 1st December 2019.

 

The following applicants are not required of fingerprints collecting:

1. children under 14 years of age and adults over 70 years of age;      

2. applicants who suffer from ten fingers multilation or whose fingerprints cannot be collected;

3. applicants who are diplomatic passports holders or who are enjoying the courtesy treatment;

4. applicants who are holding the same passports having their fingerprints collected already within the last five years.

 

Please be advised that all applicants are required to have their fingerprints collected in person at the Visa Office of the Chinese embassy. Visitors to China whose fingerprints do not match may be denied entry and should bear all the consequences arising therefrom. Meanwhile, every applicant is kindly reminded to make an appointment beforehand.
