The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Sierra Leone has launched the China Online Visa Application (COVA) system and the Appointment for Visa Application Submission (AVAS) system on 10th April, 2019, which has effectively facilitated the visa application, with an increasing number of applicants taking this new application method. However, we noticed that some applicants were still unaware of the available online visa application. Therefore, we again kindly inform that:

From 10th April to 9th May, 2019, priority will be given to applicants with online application forms, and only those who are in special circumstances shall be given the chance to use the old application form. From 10th May, 2019, all the applicants are required to fill the online application form and make online appointment, and the handwritten application form will no longer be accepted.
