Ambassador Kuang Weilin Attends Signing Ceremony of China-Sierra Leone Agricultural Technological Cooperation Project

On November 24, Ambassador Kuang Weilin and Sierra Leonean acting Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Forestry Hon. Mr. Ali Badara Mansary signed the renewed agreement on agricultural technological cooperation between China and Sierra Leone. Senior officials from the Ministry and Commercial Counsellor Mr. Liu Yulin were present at the ceremony.

Ambassador Kuang Converses with Acting Minister Mansary

Ambassador Kuang spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation in agricultural technology between the two countries and emphasized that China will continue to provide assistance and support to the development of agriculture in Sierra Leone.

Acting Minister Mansary expressed his gratitude for the contributions that China has made to the development of agriculture in Sierra Leone and looked forward to further expanding exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

Agricultural technological cooperation between China and Sierra Leone first started in 1988 and this project will be 10th agreement signed. According to it, Chinese Agriculture experts, based in the Bo City Agriculture Station, will continue to conduct various training programs and experiment in the cultivation of rice and corn.
