On February 3rd, Ambassador Zhao Yong paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, exchanging views on China-Sierra Leone relations.

Ambassador Zhao stated that China and Sierra Leone enjoy a long-standing and ever-stronger traditional friendship. In recent years, the two countries have maintained close high-level exchanges, yielding fruitful results in pragmatic cooperation. China is ready to work with Sierra Leone, taking the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sierra Leone as an opportunity, to promote the pragmatic cooperation in various fields and take the bilateral relations to a new level. 

Vice President Jalloh said that Sierra Leone attaches great importance to the development of its relations with China, and will work with China to add new momentum to the traditional friendly relations between the two countries.
