On April 17, Ambassador Zhao Yong attended the Award Ceremony for the "China-Sierra Leone Cooperation In My Eyes" Short Video Competition, which was jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone and the Sierra Leonean Association of Journalists(SLAJ）. Mr. Alhaji Kamara, President of SLAJ, some competition participants, and media representatives attended.

Ambassador Zhao presented awards to the winners of t he competition, and encouraged all participants to continue to tell their own stories of China-Sierra Leone friendship.

As one of the series of activities commemorating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sierra Leone and the "China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges.", the video competition received more than 50 entries, introducing China-Sierra Leone friendly cooperation,  people-to-people exchanges and Chinese traditional culture etc..
