On the evening of December 20 2005, Wife of Chinese Ambassador, Mrs. Zhang Jianhua held a women's reception to celebrate the approaching Christmas and New Year with some Sierra Leonean women high officials at the Ambassador's residence.

The reception started with the warm welcome address by Mrs. Zhang. After that, wife of Economic and Commercial Counselor, Mrs. Wang Dongmei, introduced the training programs for Sierra Leoneans in China. Ms. Xia, a Chinese diplomat in Sierra Leone, talked about her impression of the local people.

Later on, four Sierra Leonean trainees made remarks separately. They thought highly of the development in China, and appreciated the assistance and support Chinese Government rendered to Sierra Leone.

People present at the reception enjoyed the friendly relationship. After tasting delicious Chinese food, people played lottery program, and danced together.
